• Neurology residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
• Epilepsy Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine
• Master’s in public health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

He served as a Neurologist with the US Navy and is a member of:

• American Academy of Neurology (AAN)
• American Epilepsy Society (AES)
• American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ACNS)
